Early Life
Tony was born in Washington, in a musically-inclined family. His grandfather, Sonny Simmons, is a famous jazz musician. Furthermore, Tony grew up with music by Al B Sure, Michael Jackson, El Debarge, Teena Marie, Guy. Ulteriorly, he would also enjoy listening to 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Biggie Smallz and DJ Quik. At the age of 13 he received his first keyboard and the magic began.
Music Career
Tony Sway became popular on social media and began selling his beats to countless artists from all around the globe. He also served as a producer & songwriter for the high-selling artist Frankie J and for the comic music star Quincy Brown, the stepson of Puff Daddy. Additionally, Tony received equally or more success as a singer. In 2013, he released Summer Love, which received positive reviews. His next and possibly most acclaimed album, Elevate, reached number 5 on Amazon‘s top 100 R&B/Soul albums. Tony’s latest album is the 2015 release, Sway Valentino. The album spawned several popular songs like Climax, Give U Love, Taste U.
