Remy Boyz Biography

Remy Boyz 1738 is a hip-hop American trio consisting of Fetty Wap, Monty, and P-Dice.

Early Formation

All the members were born in Paterson, New Jersey. The name Remy Boyz 1738 was chosen as a reference to high-end cognac. Producers like Brian Garcia helped the boys find a sound and define it at the same time. The group’s popularity grew along with Fetty Wap’s success single Trap Queen. The song peaked at number 2 on the US chart.

As a result, they have started releasing together singles like 679  reaching spot 4 and My Way reaching spot 7 on Billboard. 679 sold over 1 million domestic copies and gained 100 million views on YouTube. Remy Boyz made their TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in September 2015. The track My Way was nominated for Best Collaboration, Duo or Group on BET Awards. In late 2015, P-Dice left the trio and the duo changed their name to The Zoo Gang. The latest song released under the name Remy Boyz was Handgun.
