Early Life
Jessica Hannah “Jess” Glynne was born on 20 October 1989 in Hampstead, London. At 15 she auditioned for The X Factor but gave up soon after some disagreements.
Career Beginnings and Success
My Love appeared online in 2013 and became a hit in the United Kingdom. Jess soon released the track Rather Be with house artists Clean Bandit, which was received well, and got number 1 in the UK in 2014. The same year she issued two more songs: Right Here under her own name and Real Love with Clean Bandit serving as collaborators again. The singles reached top 10 in England.
Solo Success
Tinie Tempah featured Glynne on their number 1 track Not Letting Go. At the same time, she reached the top of the chart as a solo artist with Hold My Hand. Finally, in 2015 she was able to reveal her debut album I Cry When I Laugh, under the management of Atlantic Records. The LP was a national success, as it debuted at number 1 in the UK charts.
