Jax Jones Biography
Born Timucin Fabian Kwong Wah Aluo on 25 July 1987, Jax studied classical guitar from an early age. Working his way around understanding the house music, both old and new, the South London artist is bringing a new vibe to the genre.
During his university years, Jonson also worked in a studio on his beats, posting them on MySpace. He worked with the producer Rippman. The two of them met when Jax performed at open mic clubs in London.
“I guess I came to dance music quite late. I was on hip-hop, and into music like Musiq Soulchild and Tank. I actually wrote a song with Musiq Soulchild a few years ago, and was like, I sued the lyrics to your music to get with as many girls as I could“, Jones declared for an interview with the Huffington Post.
Jax Jones propelled himself into the worldwide music scene with the collaboration with Duke Dumont. Jax and Duke produced and co-wrote the songs “I Got U”, “Won’t Look Back” and “Ocean Drive”.
