Descemer Bueno Biography

A Cuban singer, composer, and producer, Descemer Bueno worked with the likes of Enrique Iglesias.

Early Life

Before becoming a full-time musician, Bueno was a music teacher in Cuba, the US, and South Africa. In 1999 he co-wrote songs for the hip-hop band “Yerba Buena” and became a successful producer for music in film, once he was back in Cuba.

Beginnings and Success

Hip-Hop fusion inspired “Siete Rayo” was his first solo debut album released in 2005. “Bueno” his 2012 album was released after which he continued producing for other artists, most notably for Enrique Iglesias. The 2014 song “Bailando” became an international hit and won various Latin Grammys and 1 Grammy for “Song of the Year”. Next, he has been featured as a vocalist, composer, and producer on a number of other projects and has been working on a solo double album.
