Early Life
Brett Ryan Eldredge was born in Paris, Illinois on March 23, 1986. He grew up listening to artists like Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, and Bobby Darin. At 16, however, he decided that country was a more fitting passion that grew further in college. Brett started to create a voice of his own and began writing music and performing it in Nashville.
Career Beginnings
He was lucky enough to get an Atlantic Records contract following a showcase where he performed his own material. Eldredge released the single Raymond which received radio play. In 2011 he revealed the tracks It Ain’t Gotta Be Love and Don’t Ya in 2012. The latter was his first major hit as it reached number 5 on the Country chart. The following year, Brett issued his debut album Bring You Back. The same year he opened for Taylor Swift’s Red Tour followed by co-tour with Darius Rucker.
Growing Success
In 2015, Eldredge released two more country hits, Lose My Mind and Just a Taste. The arrival of his second LP, Illinois further solidified his stance as a country star. Lose My Mind and Drunk on Your Love became bonified country hits. In late 2016, Brett revealed a first holiday compilation, called Glow. Early this year, Somethin’ I’m Good At was revealed as the lead single from Eldredge’s third upcoming album.
