Wisin Biography

Born Juan Luis Morera Luna on December 19, 1978, Wisin is best known for his band Wisin & Yandel.

Early Career

Juan and Llandel started their collaboration in 1998 and featured on the album No Fear 3, with producer DJ Dicky. The label was convinced by this project that they deserved their own chance and produced their first album, Los Reyes del Nuevo Milenio. Soon after, the albums De Nuevos A Viejos (2001), Mi Vida… My life (2003) and De Otra Manera (2004) followed.

Follow-up

Before releasing the album El Regreso del Sobreviviente, Wisin declared for Billboard “I promise that this new material is bigger than ever, with stellar collaborations and as always great music”. The album got issued in 2014 and it reached number one on the US Latin Rhythm.

Wisin placed first on the US Latin Airplay chart with the single such as “Que Viva la Vida”, “Adrenalina” featuring Jennifer Lopez and “Nota de Amor” featuring Daddy Yankee,
