Tristan Mack Wilds Biography

Tristan Paul Mack Wilds is an American actor, singer-songwriter and producer. He uses the name Tristan for acting-related credits and Mack for music. He is known for his roles in HBO’s The Wire and CW’s 90210. Wilds made his musical debut in 2013 and has released two studio albums.

The Actor

Wilds made his acting debut in 2005, by starring in the miniseries Miracle’s Boys. His first feature film role was in an independent drama, Half Nelson, where he played along Ryan Gossling. After making appearances in a few music videos, he joined the cast of The Wire, having a major recurring role. Moreover, in 2007 he starred in The Secret Life of Bees. He is best known for the teen drama series 90210, which aired between 2008 and 2013. Additionally, he played Adele’s love interest in the music video for her 2015 hit song, Hello.

The Musician

In 2008, Wilds decided to pursue a music career after meeting a producer at the BMI Awards. He recorded several independent singles, most noteworthy 2 Girlz which was featured on 90210. In late 2011 he released his debut EP, Remember Remember. Shortly after, he signed with the Sony Music imprint, Louder than Life. Wilds’ first studio album, New York: A Love Story, came out in 2011 to massive acclaim, earning a Grammy nomination. The artist’s second album, AfterHours, was released in April 2017. It was preceded by the single Love in the 90z.
