Travis Scott Biography
Born Jacques Webster on April 30, 1992, Travis Scott grew up in Missouri city, Texas. He dropped out of college to pursue his music career.
Early Career
Young Travis started as a producer and teamed up with his friends, Chris Holloway. Their band was titled The Graduates and they issued their debut untitled EP on Myspace. After several discomforts, Scott met with rapper T.I. after he moved to L.A..
Travis released the songs “Blocka La Flame”, “Quintana” and “Upper Echelon” followed by the Owl Pharaoh EP. His second mixtape Days Before Rodeo included the single “Don’t Play” featuring Big Sean and The 1975.
First Albums
For his debut album, Travis collaborated with artists such as Kid Cudi, Kanye West, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber. The album Rodeo enclosed the singles “3500” and “Antidote”. For the latter, Travis won a People’s Champ Award.
The second album that saw the light of day was entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and it reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Travis Scott’s album was supported by the singles “wonderful”, “pick up the phone” and “goosebumps”.
