Robin Schulz Biography

Robin Schulz is a German DJ and producer. His trademark is the insertion of guitar riffs on the majority of his songs. His debut single is the remix of “Waves“, which got several Grammy nominations and thus, brought him success. However, his most famous song is a remix of Lilly Wood and the Prick‘s Prayer in C, highly-charted and massively broadcasted. Moreso, he is the first German artist to ever reach the top spot on Shazam charts. 

Early Years & Prayer

In early 2014, Robin was introduced to fame and wealth due to his remix of Waves, by Mr Probz. The song became in instant hit in several European countries. Ulteriorly, the DJ released another version of it, including American artists T.I and Chris Brown.  In the summer of 2014, Robin released another worldwide phenomenon, the remix of Prayer in C. Not only did it top numerous charts from Europe, but it also became very popular in the US as well. Robin Schulz released his first album a few months later. Most noteworthy, it got to the 3rd place on Billboard‘s Top Dance/Electronic Albums. Besides the already mentioned hits, the album offered two more singles: Willst Du and Sun Goes Down.

Sugar & Recent Activity

The fall of 2015 brought another album signed by Robin Shulz, titled Sugar. The album was introduced by a moderately successful lead single, Headlights. The second single, of the same name as the album, did better. The DJ then released a third single, Show Me Love. Overall, the album failed to impress as much as its predecessor.  In 2016, Robin’s newest effort, Shed a Light, featuring David Guetta and Cheat Codes, received much acclaim. Furthermore, the DJ directed a documentary about his life, Robin Schulz – The Movie.  He also created his own fashion line, Q/S Designed By Robin Schulz.
