Nacho Biography

Miguel Ignacio Mendoza Donatti, known by his stage name Nacho, is a Venezuelan singer, songwriter and activist. He is best known as part of the latin duo Chino & Nacho. He recently pursued a solo career instead and released a massive hit, Bailame. 

Duo

Nacho has been passionate about music since he was a child. Before forming the popular duo, he and Perez (Chine) have been part of a reggae boy band, Calle Ciega. They formed Chino & Nacho in 2007 and gained vast popularity in Venezuela and its neighbour countries. Most noteworthy, the two won a Latin Grammy Awards for their 2010 album, Mi Nina Bonita. Furthermore, their next album, Supremo, topped the US Latin Albums charts. Additionally, they were honoured with numerous Latin Billboard awards. Some of their best-known songs are Bebe Bonita, Tu Me Quemas (with Jay Sean), and Andas en Mi Cabeza (with Daddy Yankee)

Solo

In March 2016, the duo announced a hiatus. Despite Nacho wanting to spend more time with his family, he signed a solo contract with Universal Music and, in April, he released his debut single, Bailame. He uploaded the song’s music video on his new Vevo account and it gained immense acclaims.
