MisterWives Biography

MisterWives is a New York-based American indie pop band that combines dance-pop and modern folk-pop.

Early Formation

The band was initiated by lead singer Mandy Lee who partnered with musicians Etienne Bowler and William Hehir. Bowler’s friends were added to the mix Blum and Campbell. They had their first performance in 2013 in New York.

Career Beginnings

They were immediately signed to Photo Finish Records, followed by intense touring and recording. MisterWives released their critically acclaimed debut EP Reflections in 2014. Next, they opened for Twenty One Pilots for their Quiet Is Violent world tour.

Rising Band

They performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live thus showing that the group was getting more popular. It was announced during their tour that MisterWives were going to release a debut album in 2015 called Our Own House. The remainder of 2015 was booked with numerous festivals like Lollapalooza and the successful Scrapbook Tour. More touring was made with Panic! At the Disco as part of their Death of a Bachelor Tour for the majority of 2016. Machine was released as the lead single from their latest album. The project will be named Connect the Dots and is set for arrival on May 19, 2017.
