Missio Biography

Missio, whose members are Matthew Brue and David Butler, is an electronic duo from Austin, Texas.

Formation

The Texan duo Missio formed in 2014 after Brue (singer-songwriter) collaborated with Butler on a few songs. Shortly, Butler joined Missio permanently. One year later, they debuted at the SXSW festival.

Breakthrough

The two made their commercial breakthrough in 2017, after signing with RCA Records and released the single Middle Fingers. The song peaked at number 9 on the US Alternative chart. Additionally, it will feature on Missio’s debut album, Loner, due for May 2017. In April, a couple more singles came out, Everybody Gets High and KDV, with SHUG. They are currently touring the US, with Muse and 30 Seconds to Mars.
