Mansionz Biography

Mansionz is enclosing the members Mike Posner and Matthew Musto. Both members have successful solo careers. Posner is known for singles like “Cooler than Me” and “Please Don’t Go”. Matthew, known as Blackbear is a famous name in the hip-hop and R&B scenes.

Debut

The duo debuted in the winter of 2016 with the single “Stfu”. It was followed by “Rich White Girls” in February 2017. Their debut album Mansionz included these two together with the single “Dennis Rodman”. Artists like Soren Bryce, G-Eazy and CyHi The Prynce appeared on this album. Mansionz peaked at number 67 on the US Billboard 200.

Style & Views

Mike and Matthew created quite an image for themselves. They painted their hair green, showcasing the start of their new project.

“Bear and I have been making music together for many a year. One of the first songs we wrote became Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend.” As we’ve aged, I think we’ve just become bigger fans of each other’s music. To the point, where I just texted him one day and said, ‘we should do a project together.’ ‘At Night, Alone’ was already done at that point. And we just rented a cabin and made an album.”
