Logic Biography

Logic is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer with over 1 million downloads online.

Early Life

Sir Robert Bryson Hall II was born in Gaithersburg, Maryland on January 22, 1990. Growing up in a poor family, rough neighborhood and drug addicted parents was Robert’s childhood. As a teen, he would learn how to make and distribute crack cocaine.

Career Beginnings

Logic was expelled from highschool for low attendance and bad grades. This caused him to fully focus on music. He released his first mixtape in 2010, called Young, Broke, and Infamous.

Success

His success started to come through with the release of other mixtapes such as Young Sinatra in 2011 and Young Sinatra: Undeniable in 2012. The projects received a lot of love online with numerous downloads. As a result, Logic embarked on a solo tour in Europe, supported independently. The show was very well received, so headed for a world tour this time. He then released the mixtape Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever. In 2014, he was finally able to make his official debut with the full-length album Under Pressure with Def Jam’s support. HIs next step was the ambitious concept LP The Incredible True Story which was number 1 on the U.S. R&B/Hip-Hop chart and number 3 on Billboard 200. In 2016 he went on another tour this time joined by G-Eazy, YG, and Yo Gotti. Logic made a surprise reveal with the 5th mixtape Bobby Tarantino under Def Jam/Visionary Music Group. The mixtape’s Flexicution became his first Billboard Hot 100 solo single.
