More Fire Crew
Lethal Bizzle first found success on the pirate radio scene which made him quit college. He joined the hip hop crew More Fire Crew and released the single Oi! which became a UK Top 10 hit. The track was one of the few grime songs to reach that level in the mainstream chart. More Fire Crew C.V., their first album was released in 2001. Unfortunately, the trio was dropped by their label because of low album sales. More Fire Crew disbanded as result and Lethal focused on a solo career.
Solo Success
In 2004, he returned with the violent single Pow (Forward) which was banned from popular mainstream radio because of its lyrics. Nonetheless, the track still managed to enter the UK Dance charts at number 1. In addition, he was nominated for 2 MOBO Awards and won the Best Single category. The following year he issued the album Back to Bizznizz and debuted the duo Fire Camp with partner Ozzie B. Under the indie label, Search & Destroy Records, he released the third album Go Hard. Bizzle then released a compilation album of his best work entitled Best of Bizzle in 2011. A string of singles were revealed next as They Got It Wrong, the Top 10 hit Rari WorkOut in 2014 and Fester Skank in 2015. In 2017, Lethal issued his latest album Lennox Rd and its lead single Round Here. Shortly after he surprised fans with the announcement of an EP called You’ll Never Make a Million from Grime set for release on the 5th of May.
