Acting Career
The highlights of her career are marked by the two commercially successful Fox TV series. First, Michele played Rachel Berry in the comedy-drama Glee (2009-2015). She achieved a Satellite Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and three People’s Choice Awards. Furthermore, the role offered her the possibility to stand out as a singer as well. Next up, she played Hester Ulrich on the horror-comedy Scream Queens (2015-2016). As a child, she used to participate in various Broadway productions. Her film debut was in 2011.
Singing & Writing Career
In 2012, Michele decided to pursue a music career. She released her first single, Cannonball, at the end of 2013, under Columbia Records. One year later, her debut album came out. Louder reached number 4 on the Billboard 200. Her second album, Places, is set for release in 2017. It already spawned two successful singles, Love Is Alive and Anything’s Possible.
Additionally, the artist released a The New York Times Best Seller, titled Brunette Ambition, in 2014. In the autobiography, Michele stated that her all time role model is Barbra Streisand. In 2015, she released a second book, You First: Journal Your Way To Your Best Life.
