Kyle Biography

Kyle Harvey, known simply as Kyle, is an American hip-hop artist from L.A. and the founder of the “The SuperDuper Crew“. He most known for collaborations with artist such as Kehlani or G-Eazy. His songs from 2015 and 2016 determined Rolling Stone to name him “one of the ten artists you need to know.”  His most popular song is Hey Now featuring Martin Solveig. He claims Jadakiss, Will Smith and Incubus as inspirations.

Career

The young artist began rapping at the age of thirteen. In school, he was both a jock and the nerd. He liked both football and playing Skyrim. In 2010 he started to release mixtapes under the name K.i.D. 2013 spawned his first album, titled Beautiful Loser, but with no commercial success.

Two years later, he released a second album, Smyle. This time he reached Billboard‘s US Top Rap Albums, peaking at number 7. Additionally, he reached number 10 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Most noteworthy, in 2015 he released Just a Picture, featuring Kehlani and King Wavy, featuring G-Eazy. Therefore, his popularity expanded a lot. In 2016, he released his breakout single iSpy, featuring Lil Yachty. The song reached both US Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Hot 100. The year 2017 came with a deal with Atlantic Records.
