Jamiroquai are a British funk and acid jazz band.

Jamiroquai is an ever-changing band that currently encloses artists like Jay Kay, Matt Johnson and Paul Turner.
Early Years
The release of their first single “When You Gonna Learn” (1992) was followed by a contract with Sony Music Entertainment. Jamiroquai’s first albums were titled Emergency on Planet Earth (1993) and The Return of the Space Cowboy (1994).
Their third album Travelling Without Moving (1996) made the band popular also in America. The hits “Virtual Insanity” and “Cosmic Girl” propelled the band’s fame over the oceans.
Further Success
After releasing three more albums, the band reached number one on the UK album chart with the hits collection High Times: Singles 1992-2006. In 2006 the band signed with Columbia Records. They performed at Abbey Road Studios and later on the UK’s Channel 4. Rock Dust Light Star, their seventh album, saw the light of day in 2010.
Jamiroquai’s 8th album is called Automaton and is still yet to be released. Two singles have been published from the musical project: “Cloud 9” and “Automaton“.
