Grizzly Bear is an American rock band consisting of Ed Droste, Daniel Rossen, Christopher Bear, and Chris Taylor.

Grizzly Bear encloses Ed Droste, Daniel Rossen, Christopher Bear, and Chris Taylor. Droste started the one-man project and named it Grizzly Bear.
First releases
Ed issued the debut album Horn of Plenty in 2004. It featured work from Christopher Bear, who will end up becoming a band member. The album received fairly well ratings from critics. Chris Taylor and his roommate Daniel Rossen joined the band later. The updated Grizzly Bear lineup released Yellow House in 2006. Metacritic rated it 79/100. The singles “On a Neck, On a Spit” and “Knife” led the album.
Further Career
The group continued to perfect their sound. The album Veckatimest (2009) received an even higher rating, scoring 85/100 on Metacritic. Around this time, they consolidated their fame touring with Radiohead and playing at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
After Grizzly Bear issued Shields in 2012, they went on a tour to support it. The members took a break for 4 years. In 2016 it was announced that they are working on a new album. In April 2017, the band started teasing their new work with short clips.
