Gnash Biography

Garrett Charles Nash, better known by his stage name gnash was born on June 16, 1993, in Los Angeles, California. His debut single “i hate u, i love you” reached top ten in the UK.

Career

Gnash started DJing at the age of 13. His first gigs were parties and high school dances and after that, he started writing his own songs. Towards the end of college, Gnash was already producing covers so he could play them as a DJ set. Some of his first songs that he uploaded to Soundcloud include “Suga Suga” by Baby Bash and Frankie j and “Coco” by O.T. Genasis. Gnash released his debut EP, “u”, in March 2015 on Soundcloud followed by his second EP, “me” in December 2015. His third EP, “us” came out in March 2016 and features the single “i hate u, i love you”, featuring Olivia O’Brien.
