It featured 3 top 10 hits, including the iconic Conga and went 4x Platinum.

Notably, it spawned the single, Don’t Wanna Lose You, which peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. After suffering an auto accident, which required a lengthy recovery, Gloria came back with the 1991 album Into the Lights, which was an immense success. Two years later, the released her highest selling album, Mi Tierra. The record went diamond in both Spain and the US and generated several hits, most noteworthy the title track.

Following up on that success, she released a covers collection, in 1994. Her version of Vicki Sue Robinson’s Turn the Beat Around added to the huge acclaim around Gloria’s name. More recently, Gloria released Miss Little Havana (2011)produced by Pharell Williams. It included collaborations with Pitbull and El Cata and reached number 20 on the Billboard 200.
