Florida Georgia Line Biography

Florida Georgia Line is an American country duo and one of the best country music acts since 2010. Cruise is the only country song to ever receive a diamond certification.

Early Beginnings

The two Christian singers Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard met in 2008, at Belmont University. After becoming roommates they decided to start a band, so they would work odd jobs and perform at clubs. Independently the duo released their first project, the Anything Like Me EP in 2010 followed by the polished It’z Just What We Do  EP in 2012. The single “Cruise”, however, catapulted them into stardom.

Success

Here’s to the Good Times, the first album was the sixth best selling album of 2013 and all the official singles were number 1 on the country charts. Anything Goes, the second album was released in 2014 and was as successful as the first and its singles were chart toppers. In 2016, Florida Georgia Line revealed their third album, Dig Your Roots. The album was supported by the Dig Your Roots tour.
