Falling in Reverse Biography

Falling in Reverse encloses frontmen vocalist Ronnie Radke and guitarist Christian Thompson, rhythm guitarist Derek Jones, bassist Zakk Sandler and drummer Ryan Seaman.

From Prison to Debut Album

Ronnie Radke was involved in a crime in Las Vegas and was sentenced to two years in prison. His band Escape the Fate kicked him out after the conviction. Radke created a band while doing jail time called From Behind These Walls, later changing its name in Falling in Reverse.

They signed with Epitaph Records and released the debut album The Drug in Me Is You (2011). It charted at number 19 on the Billboard 200. The lyrics were all written by Ronnie, while in prison.

Further Works

Falling in Reverse issued the album Fashionably Late in 2013, followed by Just Like You (2015). The latter received a score of 72/100 on Metacritic.

Further work implied the album Coming Home, released on 6 April 2017. Lead guitarist Christian Thompson and bassist Zakk Sandler debuted as members of the band with this album. Falling in Reverse said that “It’s a huge left turn. It sounds like nothing we’ve ever done. Every song is very vibey. There’s more feeling in it instead of a lot of metal. We’re challenging ourselves now more than we ever have in the weirdest ways possible, because you would think writing the craziest solo or riffs would be the challenging part. But the challenging part is trying to stick to a theme and not go all over the place like we would normally do.
