CupcakKe is a rapper, singer, and songwriter who is known for daring singles like Deepthroat and Vagina.

Early Life

Elizabeth Eden-Harris was born in Chicago, Illinois raised by a single mother. Although she had a rough childhood, she began writing poetry at age 10. At 13 she was very passionate about rap music and felt inspired by artists like 50 Cent and Lil Kim.

Career Beginnings

At 14 Harris released her first music video Gold Digger on YouTube which went viral in 2012. Despite being a minor, CupcakKe continued releasing original music and sounds from other artists, gaining a big internet following.

Success

Within weeks, the two videos Vagina and Deepthroat went viral on YouTube in 2015. As expected their open sexual nature would be the cause. She released the mixtape Cum Cake in 2016, which was praised by Pitchfork for its writing and honesty. Soon followed Shelters to Deltas, the mixtape was named Best Rap Albums of 2016 So Far by the publication Rolling Stone. Things were going well for Elizabeth because the same year she released her debut album Audacious. In 2017 she released the lead single Cumshot from her upcoming album. In March she was featured with singer Charli XCX on her latest song Lipgloss.
