CNCO Biography

CNCO encloses the members Christopher Velez, Richard Camacho, Joel Pimentel, Erick Brian Colon, and Zabdiel De Jesus. The band members are all winners of the singing competition La Banda.

Early Years

CNCO comes from the word “cinco” that means 5 in Spanish. Their name was chosen in the final of La Banda. After winning, they got to be represented by Ricky Martin. They collaborated along the lines of La Banda with artists like Pitbull, Fifth Harmony and Wisin.

Breakthrough

Their first single “Tan Facil” charted amazingly well. It peaked at number one on the iTunes Latino charts. They started touring with Ricky Martin and continued to release songs. Before their debut album, the boys landed a Pokemon Go inspired game titled CNCOGo. Fans could find new CNCO songs through this application. Wisin produced the latino boy band’s first album Primera Cita (2016).

After the success of their first album put together with the numerous tours and concerts, CNCO started work for their second album. They issued the single “Hey DJ” on 4 April 2017.
