Chase & Status Biography

Chase & Status are a British electronic duo, consisting of Saul Milton and Will Kennard. Since their formation in 2003, they released 3 studio albums and collaborated with numerous important artists.

Early Career & More Than Alot 

Chase and Status met in London during their college years. They began the make music and released three songs that topped the UK Dance Chart, most notably Pieces, featuring Plan B. The singles were featured on their debut album, More Than Alot. The album peaked at number 2 on the UK Dance Albums Chart. In 2009 their popularity grew with the release of the song Against All Odds.  Furthermore, the duo made their debut on the top 40 Singles, with the track End Credits. Additionally, they released a remix of Nneka’s Heatbeat, which became a massively broadcasted hit.

No More IdolsBrand New Machine

In the summer of 2010, another top 40 song came out, Let You Go. Close by followed Hypest Hype, as the third single from the upcoming album. Additionally, the album generated a few more popular songs, like Time (featuring Delilah), Hitz (featuring Tinie Tempah) and Flashing Lights (with Sub Focus featuring Takura). No More Idols recevied a gold certification. The duo’s next album, Brand New Machine, had a darker vibe than its predecessors. Moreover, it topped the UK Dance Chart and generated successful singles such as Lost & Not Found. Chase & Status are currently working on their fourth albumLet’s Play Hangman.
