Charlie Worsham Biography

Charlie Worsham is an American country music singer-songwriter. He is currently signed to Warner Bros. Records.  He rose to fame with his debut hit, Could It Be, which reached number 28 on the Hot Country Songs chart and number 94 on the Hot 100 chart.

Early Life

Worsham was born in Jackson, Mississippi, in 1985. He attended Grenada High School and finished as “a model student who makes straight A’s” and also as a talented musician with great potential. Furthermore, he studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Music Career

Charlie Worsham played the mandolin and sang harmonies as part of the band KingBilly, until 2010. With them, he released an EP Waiting On You, gaining local recognition. In 2011 he toured with Taylor Swift. Ulteriorly, he performed with other consecrated artists, such as Miranda Lambert and Kenny Rogers.

His debut single, Could It Be, came out in 2013, preceding his first album, Rubberband. The single received critical acclaimed and the album peaked at number 12 on the Billboard 200. Moreover, the album spawned a second single, Want Me Too, which reached number 46 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs. Additionally, one year later he made an appearance as a murder victim in the TV series Bones, which also included his song Love Don’t Die Easy. In April 2017 he released his second studio album, Beginning of Things.
