Brandon Beal is an American singer-songwriter mostly known for the hit single “Twerk It Like Miley”.
Early Life
Brandon Beal was born on 16 December 1983 in Tyler, Texas. He grew up with brother Teron Beal who was a respected songwriter. Teron wrote songs for major artists like Michael Jackson, which inspired Brandon to do the same.
Career Beginnings
In 2006, Brandon got his first musical break with the independent LP Comfortable. Brandon Beal worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Flo Rida, Juelz Santana and Karina Pasian amongst others. Beal traveled to Scandinavia to work with producer and DJ Rasmus Hedegaard in 2011. Together they toured Denmark as Beal & Ras along with other acts. The duo released the single Money which peaked at number 13 on the Danish Dance chart. It stayed on the chart for 14 weeks. The second single was I Like It featured by Troo.L.S.
Success
In 2010, Beal was a guest on Kato’s latest album Discolized 2.0 on the track My House 2.0 and Never Let U Go. The latter was featured by Snoop Dogg as well and debuted at number 2 on the Danish Top 40 chart. Another collaboration was made with band Lukas Graham on their self-titled album. The LP reached was number 1 album for 11 weeks and was certified platinum, three times. Co-written by Brandon, Lukas Graham’s single Better Than Yourself debuted at number 1 in Denmark. In 2014 he issued the single Twerk It Like Miley featured by Danish singer Christopher. It was number 1 on the Danish Singles Chart and received an award for Club Hit of the Year. The following year the single Golden featured by Lukas Graham from his latest LP Truth, was another number 1.
