Bag Raiders Biography

Bag Raiders is enclosing the members Jack Glass and Chris Stracey. They are both vocalists, producers and remixers. The two of them play keyboards and drums. Stracey also plays the guitar.

Career

Jack and Chris founded the band in 2006. They issued their debut album Bag Raiders in 2010. With singles like “Shooting Stars” and “Way Back Home”, they topped ARIA and German Singles charts.  The Band played several sold out shows with Ellie Goulding. Bag Raiders continued to issue EPs like Nairobi (2014), Waterfalls (2015), and Checkmate (2016).

Wonder Hit

The hit “Shooting Stars” revived once in 2013, reaching number 44 on the ARIA Singles Chart. Its second comeback happened in 2017, thanks to an internet meme. “Shooting Stars” is used in videos when people are falling but they are edited to look as if they are falling through space. With the newly gained popularity, the single again grasped the listeners.

“It was going to be an instrumental originally, but then we were listening over and over to it, and we decided that it absolutely needed a vocal. So we wrote a song on the top and had our friend Rhys Taylor sing it“, they declared about “Shooting Stars” in an interview with The Synthesizers Sympathizer.
