Andy Grammer is an American singer-songwriter and producer mostly known fro his single Honey, I’m Good.

Early Life

Andrew Charles “Andy” Grammer was born in Los Angeles, California on December 3, 1983. He was raised however in New York, learning to play the trumpet, guitar, and piano. Andrew began songwriting at 15 and eventually graduated college with a degree in music industry.

Career Beginnings

While in college, Andy was performing on the streets of LA in order to advertise his name. Soon he was performing on popular gigs, being signed to S-Curve Records in 2010.

Success

In 2011, Grammer released his first debut album, titled after himself. During that year’s summer, he supported acts like Natasha Bedingfield and Colbie Caillat on tour. After two years, he revealed a first EP called Crazy Beautiful. In 2015, the arrival of his sophomore album Magazines or Novels was possible. The LP spawned his biggest hit to date Honey, I’m Good, reaching number 9 on the US Billboard 100. The song was later certified triple-platinum by RIAA. He decided to take on a different approach, competing in the dancing competition Dancing with the Stars. Andy was eliminated on Week 8, finishing in the 7th place. Good to Be Alive (Hallelujah) was released and became his second consecutive hit and first certified gold track. Fresh Eyes was revealed as the main single from his upcoming LP.
