Aminé is a new hip-hop recording artist known for his debut single Caroline.

Early Life

Adam Aminé Daniel was born in Portland, Oregon on April 18, 1994, to immigrant parents. After a failed attempt at a basketball career, Aminé would make diss tracks about rival classmates.

Early Career

In early 2014, the rapper released his first mixtape called Odyssey to Me, followed by an extended play debut with En Vogue. The next year, he revealed a second mixtape, entitled Calling Brío.

Growing Success

A major opportunity presented itself when Aminé was offered a record deal with Republic Records. In March 2016 he released his first single Caroline, reaching number 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100. A few months later he revealed the self-directed music video on Vevo. The video has been viewed more than 110 million times as of today. Aminé made his TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon show, performing the hit song live. A follow-up for Caroline was the second single Baba.
