Martin Jensen Biography

Martin Jensen is a Danish DJ and record producer. In 2016 he was designated number 82 out of the 100 best DJs by DJ Magazine. He is, therefore, one of the most accomplished contemporary DJs.

Early Life

The young DJ started off as a contractor and machine mechanic and worked at his father’s firm. However, he caught an interest in DJing from an early age. Moreover, he worked 10 years as a DJ in Sunny Beach. He became internationally popular on Facebook due to his videos. Jensen used to take funny sounds from viral videos and mix them into what he called tropical house. Eventually, he reached 2.2 million followers on Facebook.

Career

His first single, Si, is a remix of a Cristiano Ronaldo celebration at the 2014 FIFA Ballon d’Or. It brought him acclaim in many Latin countries. In 2015 came his breakthrough, marked by the release of Miracles. The song got over 20 million streams on Spotify. Furthermore, his next song, All I Wanna Do, reached 60 million streams. His 2016 release, Solo Dance, became an immense success and thus, made it into top 44 of Spotify’s Global Top 50. He reached the amazing number of 100.000.000 Streams on Spotify.
