Cashmere Cat Biography

Magnus August Høiberg, known by his stage name Cashmere Cat, is a Norwegian DJ, record producer, and musician.

Career and Success

Cashmere Cat started off with the EP “Mirror Maru” under the label Belgian Pelican in 2012. He gained support from different EDM artists, who liked his use of futuristic hip-hop and bass blended with R&B. He started touring, as a result, moving to the US where he continued collaborating with other singers and DJs. His second EP was released in 2014 as “Wedding Bells”. Cashmere was by this time a highly requested collaborator and producer on albums of popular acts like Kanye West, Ariana Grande, and Britney Spears. As of 2016, he released a number of singles from his upcoming album “Wild Love”: “Trust Nobody” and “Throw Myself a Party”.
