Elliot Moss Biography
Elliot Moss is a New-York based songwriter and producer, active since 2014. He started work for his first album when he was in his final high school year.
Early Years
Moss debuted in the music world with the single “Big Bag Wolf” and “Slip”. The latter was chosen to be part of the Sonic Breakfast’s “Top Ten Songs of 2014” list. “Slip” also gained a boost of listeners after dancers Phillip Chbeeb and Renee Kester featured his song in a dance video that went viral. These two songs are featured on the Highspeeds (2015), Eliot’s first studio album. The inspiration for it came when the young artist was finishing high school. He felt that all the people talked about future plans and a fear of loneliness installed. Hence the idea of everyone moving at high speed around him.
Further Career
Eliot toured with artists like Cold War Kids, Digitalism and Oh Wonder. He also played at Bon Iver’s music festival Eaux Claires. Moss’ manager is actually Iver’s brother. He is a very dedicated artist, sleeping in his studio sometimes. Eliot loves playing live with his fellow band members that are also his best friends. “I’m a big fan of toying around with crazy gear and stuff and making noises that are inspiring, but many times I’ll find myself starting a song just based on a grouping of lyrics or some sort of idea that I have,” he declared for RuTV News. Moss issued the single Closedloop in 2017, followed by his album Boomerang.
