Electric Light Orchestra Biography

The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are a Birmingham-based, English rock band formed in 1970 and are one of the most iconic bands of the 70’s. The band managed to spawn from the early 70’s until the late 80’s eleven studio album before band leader Jeff Lynne lost interest in the band in 1986 and ceased its operation. The band was revived in 2013. During their time together, they managed to sell 50 million records worldwide and eventually they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
