Early Life & Career
Bronson was born in Flushing, Queens, New York. He grew up in the Muslim tradition. His first career was that of a fire-flame gourmet chef. Moreover, he hosted an online show called “Action in the Kitchen”. Because of breaking his leg in the kitchen, Bronson decided to focus on music. His debut album, “Dr. Lecter”, came out in 2011, through Fine Fabric Delegates, produced by Tommy Mass. Later that year, Bronson collaborated with Statik Selektah on another album, “Well-Done”.
Breakthrough & Success
In 2012, he released the mixtape Blue Chips, with Party Supplies. Furthermore, he featured on Domo Genesis and The Alchemist’s collaborative album titled “No Idols”. Subsequently, Bronson collaborated with The Alchemist again, on a collaborative mixtape, “Rare Chandeliers”. In 2013, he performed at Coachella and signed with Atlantic Records. Furthermore, he came out with the “Saaab Stories” EP, which featured appearances from the likes of Raekwon, Wiz Khalifa, and Prodigy. Another mixtape, Blue Chips 2, was released in late 2013. One year later, Bronson toured with Eminem and released “Easy Rider”, the first single from his debut album, “Mr. Wonderful“. The album itself came out in 2015, to major acclaim, peaking at number 7 on the Billboard 200.
