Tee Grizzley Biography

Terry Wallace, known by the stage name Tee Grizzley, is an American rapper from the West Side of Detroit. He made his debut with the single First Day Out, in late 2016. The song made quite an impact on the hip-hop industry.

Breakthrough

Tee Grizzley, a younger rapper who just got out of jail, rose overnight fame after released his debut single and the music video for it. First Day Out gained almost 25 million views on Youtube and led to a contract with 300 Entertainment and Atlantic Records. Notably, the song peaked at number 40 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart. The success spawned from Tee’s honest depict of all the felonies that led to his conviction. He spent 3 years in jail for a home invasion he committed while he was still a student.

2017

The follow-up single Second Day Out, came out in February 2017. One month later, he collaborated with Lil Yachty on the song From The D To The A. Furthermore, he released his first mixtape, My Moment, in April 2017.
