RaeLynn is a Texas-born country singer-songwriter who participated in the 2nd run of the TV show The Voice.
Early Life
Racheal Lynn Woodward was born in Baytown, Texas on May 4, 1994. 15 years-old Racheal, wanted a career in music. Before that, she would often sing in church.
The Voice
She auditioned for The Voice in 2012 and finished the contest at number 3 with Team Blake by her side. The same year, RaeLynn was signed to Republic Nashville thanks to the exposure of the show.
Success
Her first single was released as Boyfriend, performing well on the charts at number 32 on Billboard’s Country chart. A bigger hit was her second single God Made Girls which reached the 7th position on the same chart and was later certified gold. RaeLynn’s next step was an EP entitled Me which debuted at number 7 on the Country chart and number 49 on Billboard 200. Next, her debut album was already finished, however, she split with her record label Valory Music Co in 2016 and delayed the album for a release in 2017. RaeLynn then signed to Warner’s Nashville subsidiary and finally revealed her debut album WildHorse in early 2017.
