LANY Biography

LANY is a trio alternative band from Los Angeles, California who mix pop with R&B.

Early Formation

The trio was formed in Nashville and it consisted of Paul Jason Klein, Leslie Priest, and Jake Goss. They soon released two songs on SoundCloud Hot Lights and Walk Away.

Career Beginnings

With the arrival of their debut EP Acronyms, the group was able to create their own identity online. Songs like ILYSB, Made in Hollywood and Bad, Bad, Bad would further cement that idea. In 2015 they embarked on a tour and opened for acts like Halsey. Soon followed an EP called I Loved You and they were invited to be part of Lollapalooza festival. LANY’s following was starting to grow as they hit the road and toured with Ellie Goulding and Halsey amongst others.

Success

In 2015, they were signed to Polydor Records and released a 3rd EP titled Make Out. The project included several re-releases such as ILYSB which became an online hit, garnering approximately 14 million streams. The group was able to head for a tour of their own in 2016, followed by a single release Where the Hell Are My Friends. That single was just a taste from their 4th EP kinda. It was later supported by a tour called Kinda Tour for the remainder of 2016. In 2017 LANY revealed the date of their self-titled debut album in June. The first lead single was released in March as Good Girls. Preceeded will be the songs It Was Love The Breakup and 13.
