Alok Biography

Alok is an electronic music DJ and record producer from Brazil.

Early Life

Born in Goiânia, Brazil on August 25 1991, Alok Achkar Peres Petrillo was raised by the pioneering DJs Ekanta and Swarup. He started to make music at 12 with his brother but at 19 he went solo.

Career

As a DJ he found great success in his country, as he was awarded twice the award for “Best DJ in Brazil” from House Mag. In addition, Alok is the only Brazilian to enter DJ Magazine’s Top 25 World DJs. Alok founded his own record label UP Club Records, a company focused on founding new talent on the electronic scene.
