Flo Rida is a rapper, songwriter, and best-selling artist. His repertoire includes songs like Low, Right Round, and Wild Ones.

Early Beginnings

Tramar Lacel Dillard was born in Carol City, Florida on September 16, 1979. Since high school, he was affiliated with various rap groups like 2 Live Crew and the GroundHoggz. He left college after 2 moths of study to join label Poe Boy Entertainment in 2004. From that point on, Flo was featured with music giants like Rick Ross, T-Pain and DJ Khaled.

Career Success

He found immediate success with the number 1 Billboard single Low from his debut album Mail on Sunday, released 2008. Following the new found popularity he made numerous appearances on several albums and live performances. Once again he made the R.O.O.T.S. LP’s lead single Right Round featuring Ke$ha a number 1 hit. The album became the 8th best selling album of 2009. After the release of his 2010 album Only One Flo (Part 1), Flo Rida founded his own record label called International Music Group.

Wild Ones and Present

Wild Ones was probably his most successful album, as it created top international hits like Good Feeling, Wild Ones, and Whistle. In 2014 the main single from the EP My House titled G.D.F.Rfeaturing Sage the Gemini became his 10th top 10 hit in North America. Starting 2017 he revealed the lead single Game Time from his upcoming album The Perfect 10.
